Fight night is a knockout!

Hundreds of boxing fans were treated to a great night of boxing at a regional Amateur tournament.

The event hosted by Audley Police Amateur Boxing Club attracted six clubs.

Boxers from Manx ABC (Isle of Man) Ardwick Lads Club. (Manchester), Droylsden Boxing Club, (Mancheste), St Helens Boxing Club and Barrow Boxing Club were on show.

Yaqoob Hussain of Audley Boxing Club said, "It was a tournament to showcase some of the great boxers we have coming through the ranks in the club.

"There were quite a few lads who were competing for the first time.

"I was pleased by the atmosphere and we managed to get a pretty good crowd in.

A total of 13 bouts took place on the night. Among those Waqas Hussain impressed by winning on his debut.

Ibrar Muhammed Hussain won his first fight at the third attempt. And Alex Osborne was unlucky to lose in his first contest.
